Bona cleans great but this mop and attachments are terrible

We thought we'd buy something that would work just as well as a washcloth. We wanted to use the bona product on our parquet floors. First, the velcro area on the mop doesn't match the pads. The pads hang down and fall out of the corners. It was annoying. Second, the mop itself only cleans the middle 50% of the pads. The ends don't press on the floor, so the extra width of this mop actually cleans about the same as a full-size mop. The photos show the Velcro mop and pads. The dirty pad shows the

Unlike those from 5+ years ago

The first one I bought had the handle not fitting securely into the plastic pad. I returned it. I reordered and it fits. I've only used it twice. It definitely does NOT look like the "original". But it will have to be done. The pen just doesn't fit properly in the part that cleans the surface. The attached pad looks about the same as the old ones. However, it's a much better mopping option than a cord mop (rope mops do a better job, but they're bulky if you want to rinse and wring them out. And

Nice basic mop but could use a change

This is a very good mop that works great with a washable microfiber head. However, Bona makes disposable pads soaked in Bona solution to allow for quick rotation between cleanings. These pads are thinner than microfiber pads. The pads are attached to the underside of the mop with Velcro. Due to these Velcro fasteners, the disposable underlay does not come into full contact with the floor. The main contact is where the velcro is because they protrude slightly from the squeegee, but the center of

Quick and easy to use, does the job well

I rate this Bona microfiber mop a 4/5 on the Revain scale, with 4 meaning love it! The mop is a good size and does exactly what it's supposed to do, but I think the mop handle itself could be a bit more durable. I just got the mop and have only used it a few times but I think a stronger mop handle would be better in the long run especially if you are going to be using it a lot. I have hardwood floors in my kitchen and dining room and use the mop 1-2 times a day depending on the food, clutter…

Don't buy this. Explore and find something better.

I ordered a new Bona mop handle because my old model became rusty on the inside and broke in half during use. I am very satisfied with the new mop handle, as it is not made of plastic on the outside and metal on the inside (like the old model), but completely made of metal. What I don't like is the head itself. Judging by the photo, the design is very unsuccessful. The fabric does not stick to the 2 corners where there are triangular holes. It is VERY annoying when I sweep the hardwood floor or

Quick and easy to use does the job well

Love it!". The mop is a good size and does exactly what it is supposed to do, but I feel The mop handle itself could be a bit more durable Kitchen and dining room have wooden floors so I use the mop 1-2 times a day depending on the food, clutter etc. The mop is quite easy to use and pretty light I can discreetly placing my fridge on the other side and having quick access when I need it drink easily and effortlessly I've washed mine twice already and it hasn't changed how the pad sits back on…

Cons

Affordable and does the job (simple update to make it great)

I've always used microfiber mops, I find them best for the types of floors I have (wood and tile). However, they don't last that long, which is why I've been through quite a few over the past few years. In fact, my last one just had a broken handle, which is why I'm here. The reason I bought it is simple - it was cheap. Got it when it was on sale at a price I just couldn't refuse. It comes with all the things I love too, like reusable pads, a rotating head, and a telescoping handle. I admit the
