I bought these for my mum but I like them too. It's really worth it. You can also use the extra piece as a microphone or place it next to the TV so they can hear better. I am very happy that I bought it.

Only thing I've heard is that it's related. Won't connect to my iPad via Bluetooth. Sent it back straight away, very disappointed. I am hard of hearing and really hoped they would help me.

The range of the microphone is too short. If there is no person or television next to me, I cannot hear anything. By "next to me" I mean sitting two feet away from me. I tried to put the microphone next to the TV and sit a meter away from it. Doesn't transfer at all. For me, this product was money wasted.

If you're used to talking to people, it's okay if the small box is away from you, because your own voice is very loud when you're nearby. Didn't work very well for music (plugged into a CD player. I wanted to try it as a hearing aid. FYI, my hearing is only damaged by my eardrum. Unfortunately, the microphone body makes loud noises when scratched on something like shirt fabric. It was in my pocket on the front of my shirt. The noise was too loud and the mic couldn't pick up the TV even from 7ft away. It worked slightly better when I put on earplugs. expected better quality. My $40 headphones were much better.

Overall improved sound quality I had to connect my previous amplifier to get enough signal from the transducers for better hearing. The device is very useful as there are no cables to fiddle with and the sound quality is good to very good. I still can't understand my wife very well and she has to repeat herself. Although it's still good. The battery life seems to be close to 8 hours and the transmitter is a bit longer. The positioning is a bit odd, but it works. I'll try a different amp and see
