Nice and simple. - Kitchen and Dining

Bonmac drippers are good because they are the easiest to brew. You don't need any fancy equipment, just ground coffee and hot water. Easy!

Great cup of coffee

Made in Japan. Good quality, easy to use - size 2 filter and great cup of coffee. Ceramic - I hate plastic. Do not let it fall. I order 2 more.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Sun-Sun

Superb ceramic cone

Solid ceramic cone - just the (smaller) size I prefer. The cone sits well on my cup(s) - doesn't wobble, tilt or tip. Drip speed makes for a great cup of coffee! Very durable and well constructed. Well done Bonmac. Excellent work!

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Periodicity

Don't grind too finely

If you don't have a gooseneck, this thing rocks. Slows down the water so that it adequately contacts the coffee. Just don't grind too fine or you could clog it and it won't drain, but finding the right setting for your grinder isn't difficult.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Sad packaging

Mediocre drop! for coffee, tea and espresso

I received this dripper hoping it would be a better quality Japanese product. But to be honest, this is a so-so dropper below average, but light. The coffee, when it comes out of the dripper, drips down the sides, drips and makes a mess. Never had this problem with a Melitta plastic dropper. I'll stick with my Melitta porcelain for now.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Replaces My French Press

Bonmac filter coffee maker works well. I switched to this one from Brewer's French Press because I heard that French press coffee can significantly increase blood cholesterol levels. The downside is the added expense of paper filters (reusable metal filters still pass cholesterol-raising compounds) and potentially a slightly less flavorful drink. It also looks a bit fragile. I switched to a stainless steel French Press a few years ago because I broke some of the glass bottles. I try my best to…
