These little greenhouses are really terrific. They hold small flats of peat pots and provide the perfect environment for getting seeds started. Decided to plant my own flowers for potting in spring. Have re-used them several times to plant more and more seeds. They hold up very well and the adjustable ventilation is a plus!

I've always used the 72 seed start tray. I believe I will like these more. Time will tell for sure. Smaller will definitely be easier to clean when finished.

I first started usin these in June to grow seeds for my Fall garden. I planted cucumbers, tomatoes and peppers. They worked great. The material is much like the flats you find in Spring A bit trickey removing the seedlings to pot them up before transplanting but with patience it works fine. Use the vent on top to control the humitity level. Water from the bottom. This is my 2nd set and wil be ordering more. Enjoy and happy planting

First of all they are cheap as heck so 5 stars for price but they didn't ask that. 12 starts per tray is great for planting the whole tray one kind so for me 5 stars for that. They take up little room on potting bench so 5 stars for that. The big 72 count trays are huge, dry out easily unless you are a commercial grower but for a small garden (500-800) sf they are awesome.The cons: The lids don't stay on so these are only for grow benches or inside use I have dropped newly planted ones of these

These are ok for the initial germination process. They seem sturdy enough. However, a few critiques:a. The lid falls off a lot. It does not really sit into the tray well.b. It is very difficult to take seedlings out of the cells without damaging them. The drain hole is too narrow for pushing, and the plastic is just the right texture to squeeze without damaging it, but that is still a difficult process.One thing I did to make it easier was cut the cell trays up into multiples. I am a new, beginning wanna-be gardener and came across this somewhere on Walmart. I was a little skeptical due to their low cost so I tried them out. These work very well, especially for my tomato seeds/seedlings. They hold heat and moisture (from the bottom), which have helped me germinate quite a few different tomato seed varieties. If you are new to gardening, I would recommend these to give it a try. Thanks for your time.

A friend of mine bought a different brand of these from target so I was eager to try and start my vegetable seeds inside this year. Unfortunately these are extremely hard to grow anything in without a seed mat. They don't have good airflow and the tops are useless unless you want to grow mold. I wasted a ton of seeds in these and am disappointed. I reccomend using egg cartons instead.

For the cost, I was expecting trays that probably wouldn’t last very long, especially the clear tops with the vents. I am pleasantly surprised with the quality and the protection during shipping. These work perfectly with the *small* peat pellets that I am using. They fit snuggly into the transparent tray layer (which allows them to draw water from the green bottom tray and stops them from wobbling over. Very pleased with this purchase.

Smaller than I thought, but seem durable and practical. These are nice and looks like I might get several years from them if I store properly.

No written instructions, no seed planting pods, and flimsy lid add up to an average rating. It’s a half good and half bad item. Still trying to figure out how to manage the dials on the lid….perhaps not necessary.

Had a great experience growing my seedlings with these. Kept them warm and humid and they grew great. Also able to reuse them again.

These seemed pricey at first but theyre durable and the plants love em. The domes keep the seeds moist and humid until sprout. The plastic tray design allows moisture to drip through and be trapped, which really helps with the too wet/too dry problems with germination and seedlings. I love how these are made. First, the cover has an adjustable air vent, and holds in heat as needed. Then another inner tray to fill with soil with multiple individual compartments. Got my seeds planted today, and these are great little greenhouse planters! I like that they have a variable vent on top, love the layered construction of the bottom - clear insert and tray it sits in.They seem quite durable, and I look forward to seeing my seeds grow! I also am excited about the clear planting spots, so I can show my kids the roots, hopefully.

Great product and works as intended. Drip tray is a perk and the ventilation on the lid is sturdy and works well! I was under the impression that the cells were much bigger. I have cell trays already but they are 72 cell trays which I didn’t realized until I went to take some out and move to a bigger seed starting containers. The ones that were ready to be moved were in the middle of the tray thats when I realized the issue of not being able to move them.I tried 4 different rows of germinated seeds.
