Great notebook! - my new review

My daughter needed this note taking book for high school. Excellent tool for her to have. Her teachers have commented how what an excellent resource this notebook is for taking and organizing notes. Will absolutely be purchasing additional notebooks for future note taking. Wish we'd discovered these earlier.

Pros
  • Excellent tool. I just started my PhD and I love note taking with this system.
Cons
  • The notebook's ruled lines may not be evenly spaced or consistent throughout

Helps even the resistant.

I bought this to help my spouse stay organized while studying for actuarial exams. He was resistant to the format originally but soon saw the advantages to this note taking systems. The only suggestion would be to offer a loose leaf option.

Pros
  • Helps be more organized with my notes
Cons
  • The paper quality is subpar and prone to bleeding ink, ruining notes and making them difficult to read

💛💛💛💛💛 for my opinion

Love it. Thick paper. No bleed through. I really think it helps me to memorize material better. Using it for the DAT prep.

Pros
  • Simplifies note-taking
Cons
  • The notebook's cover may not accurately reflect the notebook's contents, leading to confusion or frustration

Nice weight paper that doesn't bleed!

The paper is nice and thick and does not bleed. They are more expensive then buying the (double docket) legal pad versions, but the paper is much thicker so you can write on both sides. I also like the lines on the left hand side - a lot of the Cornell note systems don't have lines for the left side and bottom summary. Great way to keep organized and highlight key points.

Pros
  • Can be a helpful tool for those with learning difficulties
Cons
  • The Cornell Note Taking System may not be suitable for non-English speaking individuals

Great notebooks good for me

I love these notebooks! Great for note taking with the web texts my school uses. Especially when you are OCD about how your notes look. LOL!

Pros
  • Feels professional
Cons
  • The wire-O binding may become uncomfortable or cause pain with extended use

Stationary Geeks will love this notebook!

I'm one of those weird people who geeks out over stationary and I love this notebook! The quality is outstanding. The paper has a nice feel and there is no need through when writing with felt tip pens. I specifically tried a maroon that has bled through EVERY paper I use and the bleed was so minimal that I had to hold the paper up to show people. I like the layout of the notebooks and will be buying some more in the future for all my classes.

Pros
  • Portable and easily fits in a backpack or bag
Cons
  • The Cornell Note Taking System may not be suitable for those with reading comprehension difficulties

Very Helpful - my new review

I always have problems taking notes. I start in one format and then somehow it changes into another before finally I just start writing them haphazardly. These notebooks help me keep to one format and they stay neat and orderly. I have bought them not only for myself, but college and high school age kids.

Pros
  • Ensures important information isn't missed
Cons
  • The notebook may not be customizable in terms of cover design or color choices

Great organizational tool!

This has been amazing tool. I love the divided sections for other 'special' notes or 'things important'. The plastice cover front and back keep the pages safe too!

Pros
  • Office Products
Cons
  • The Cornell Note Taking System may not fit into some academic or professional environments

Amazing note taking system!

I have no dislikes. I adore everything about this notebook. There are several pages at the from to act like an indexing system for your notes. The pages are perfectly spaced and sized for my grad school needs. My notes are no longer a disorganized hot mess! Buy this. You’ll regret it if you don’t!

Pros
  • Great for sectioned note taking
Cons
  • The notebook may not be widely available in all retail locations or online marketplaces

Lifesaver for note taking and studying

This notebook is prefect for note taking. I feel like I can organize my notes easier. With regular notebooks it feels chatoic when studying. It's also great that there is an index page so you can go to the right pages for studying. The hardcover book is beautiful and it lays completely flat on the desk or table. I will definitely be buying more when I'll be needing more of them.

Pros
  • Keeps notes organized
Cons
  • The notebook may be too heavy or bulky to carry around for long periods of time

Solid notebook: my feedback

If you're like me and are like yes its the best cornell notebook available but its ugggggglllyyy 😭 never fear the font and back covers are actually a clear layer and the design you see is an interior page so its really easy to personalize the notebook for whatever aesthetic you'd like

Pros
  • Encourages active participation in class or meetings
Cons
  • The notebook's pages may become warped or crumpled over time, making them difficult to read

Y granddaughter is in the 8th grade and it helps her keep her notes dated and in order. She can find them and study for tests.

Pros
  • Helps with exam preparation
Cons
  • The Cornell Note Taking System may not be suitable for those with short attention spans or difficulty focusing

I’m in love with these notebooks. I’ve used this system for a while, have used focus notes brand notebooks. By far I’m loving the Cornell Notebooks way more. Pages are thicker and the whole notebook is sturdier. And let’s not mention they at least have a little sample page in the beginning to guide you. Please pay attention when ordering. I made the mistake of not looking for other ones and ordered the first one I saw and ended up getting the smaller ones. How much can you fit on a 6*9 page…

Pros
  • Facilitates clear, concise and structured note-taking
Cons
  • The notebook may be more difficult to recycle than other similar products on the market

such dreamy thick paper! yet loose pages in back

This notebook was pricey, but the paper is so nice and thick that no ink bleeds through, writing on it is smooth, and reviewing notes is a much more pleasant experience. If you have an intense class, treat yourself to this notebook. I don't regret it, however, at the very back the pages are loose from the wire binding, which for the cost I shouldn’t expect to happen. I am knocking off stars for this. Would I buy again? Yes.

Pros
  • Encourages critical thinking and analysis
Cons
  • The notebook's pages may be too glossy or reflective, causing difficulty reading in certain lighting situations

Great quality but price is high

I really loved the product but the price is a bit high for a notebook that has a few pages, about 100. Definitely good quality but the price is high, even for it's quality

Pros
  • My daughter is excited to use this. Looks to be good at keeping students organized.
Cons
  • The cover material is flimsy and may not provide adequate protection for the notebook's contents

Great for organizing notes

I wish I found this book sooner because this is so helpful. It really helps me organize my notes while in class and going back to search for a topic is so easy with the key in the front makes it foolproof. My only negative is that I wish it had more pages.

Pros
  • Ideal for students, lecturers or anyone who needs to take notes
Cons
  • The notebook may not fit into all standard binders or filing systems
