Great storage and organization

These storage jars are excellent. I use them to make pickles and sauerkraut. The opening is wide enough for me to put my hands through to seal the jar and the strong liner fits snugly and doesn't leak. They are slightly shorter than a wine bottle and fit on the top shelf of the fridge. It came quickly, with no cracks or chips, well wrapped in bubble wrap.

NOT Made in Italy - Bormioli Rocco Fido Glass Jars

These jars are just perfect for fermentation. I really wanted Italian glass for this price. All printed matter is marked Made in Italy. Made in Italy on the lid. The product arrived very well packaged in a box clearly marked MADE IN CHINA. Isn't it time we put an end to the culture of lies that is so prevalent in America and around the world?

The device will be corroded and corroded after repeated cleaning.

LOVE these glasses! I'm concerned about the durability/quality of the hardware. The parts are removable for easy cleaning and it doesn't take a strong man to put the lid back on the jar like other brands, however the metal started to rust and corrode after only 4-5 cleanings. Washed in soapy water for just a few seconds and dried immediately. I don't know how to salvage this gear other than oiling it.

ideal size for sourdough; not easy to clean

I bought this set of tins to store sourdough for baking sourdough bread. For this purpose they are almost perfect. The glasses are the right size, the glass is thick and durable. They come with two rubber grommets (one for each jar) for the lid to ensure a tight seal. The only thing I don't like is that the lid is a bit difficult to remove from the jar for easy cleaning. But for me they don't need frequent cleaning so it's not a big deal. In general I am very happy with them.

One glass was slightly leaking, the other was fine. It remains to test the rest.

I have a feeling one of my cans is leaking a little. After a slight shake, I got some juice from the glass on my hand, but not much. Yes, I cleaned the seal and glass bezel before attempting to close it. Another glass I tested closed well. When opening the cans, you don't have to act as shown and break the seal, just open the lid. No sucking or anything, don't know why they say to open them like that. Everything arrived very well packaged, no glass was broken. Tons of bubble wrap and a fewโ€ฆ
