Description of πŸ”Œ Bosch Automotive (7900) Spark Plug, Copper with Nickel Coating

Heavy-duty nickel center electrode ensures longer life than standard copper plugs. Copper core provides better heat transfer for resistance to pre-ignition and fouling. Metal glass fused resistor maximizes interference suppression. Ribbed insulator design prevents misfire due to current leakage. Nickel-plated rolled threads provide superior resistance to corrosion and do not require anti-seize.

Works great with spark plugs and wires

Good price for some excellent spark plugs. My car went through the smog very easily and is 32 years old. I'm glad I bought them.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Volume

Works for my 93 VW Cabriolet

Good fork replacement at a good price. On the VW 93 you will need to remove the top of the connector to expose the threads for installation.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Excellent quality as expected from Bosch

Excellent quality as expected from Bosch. It says the spacing is factory set but I checked and 3 out of 5 needed a little adjustment.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Not sure

Cheaper and better than Platinums

I drive these candles on my MkII 8v Jetta. I tried Platinum and can't justify the extra cost. The Bentley manual calls for this fork and it works great - and a heck of a lot cheaper!

Pros
  • So far I like everything
Cons
  • There are nuances

Runs like a champ now

Fitted to a 1979 B21A Volvo 244 on the recommendation of my mechanic. This car hasn't been driven in a while so I completely overhauled it: distributor cap, new rotor, spark plug wires, spark plugs and new injectors. Now it runs like a champ, like a much younger machine.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Appearance

Quality OEM replacement

This is an OEM replacement for my 87 Carrera 3.2. Replacing them takes effort and patience. Do not drop the plug or socket into the motor! Candles go deep, and new ones must be screwed into the head by touch. Pelican Parts recommends replacing them about every 10,000.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Upgradeable
