Top-Notch Performance from This V Groove Router Bit

This router bit is a must-have for anyone who works in industrial and scientific fields. The high-quality carbide material ensures smooth, precise cuts that won't damage your materials. The V groove design is perfect for creating clean, professional-looking edges on everything from wood to metal. The only downside is that it may be too expensive for hobbyists or occasional users. Overall, a great investment for serious professionals.

Pros
  • Long-wearing, durable carbide construction enables precision V-grooving.
Cons
  • May cause chipping or splintering in softer materials due to the sharpness of the carbide.

Flat bottom V-groove, not as shown in the picture.

I needed a precise 90 degree angle to the tip, but that doesn't happen. This drill will leave a small flat bottom 1/8 inch thick. I sent my first one back thinking it was coincidence, I will be returning the second one soon.

Pros
  • Controlled cut design helps minimize recoil
Cons
  • So far so good

Did a great job in Solid Surface Bits

This bit did the job perfectly and created a nice V-groove. I used it in Red Oak in a 3/8 collet hand router with a cutting guide attached to the workpiece. This creates a small, shallow bottom groove that I was able to remove with a chisel. If you have to make a lot of spiky cuts, this might not be for you.

Pros
  • Use with a leading edge or template
Cons
  • Expensive
