Enhanced Performance and Extended Reach with Bosch BL2635 Extra Length Aircraft Review

I have used this drill bit to drill over 3" diameter holes in wood floors/joists for squeak free wood screws to install. They are strong for a long thin drill bit and will not split or mar hardwood floors. Only the first 2 inches or so of the bit is fluted, so you'll have to pull the bit out every few inches to clear the sawdust, or it will stop drilling because the flutes are clogged.

Not much to say about this other than the right drill and dimensions. All flutes are in excellent condition and while time will tell how durable they are I don't see any problems. The packaging is an ordinary irritating cardboard carrier with shrink wrap taped on top. Considering the diameter of the drill bit and the risk of bending it, I decided to cut the package off rather than punching it myself with the drill bit. The drill seems sharp and straight, no problem.

So I gave 5 stars to the questions asked because the quality is good, the cleanliness is good and the thickness is good. I gave the beat 3 stars overall because the beats don't come straight. I bought 2 of these bits and none of them were straight, one is way worse than the other. I could use one by holding the tip with my fingers to make it run and not try the worst of the two.
