Bosch GLL25 10 Leveling Cross Line Laser Review

I bought this laser after borrowing a cabinet laser from a friend. I thought it was a tool I would only use once a year, but now that I have it I've used it for multiple jobs. It's pretty handy to have on hand and I'm glad I spent the money on it.

The left side of the laser is not level - it slopes significantly compared to the right. Tested on two perfectly flat surfaces (tabletop shown; also tested on flat furniture). I ordered a replacement and it was a little better but still not perfect. Definitely cheaper than the $100+ equivalent, but at $44 it's still not cheap.

I had a small project that required a laser arm. I bought a Bosch because of a well-known brand and mine may have been defective. Right out of the box it caught fire and didn't stand up straight. You must touch the device to align the laser. Weak distance in the laser. I bought the $250 version and it's great. I bought a better laser in a cat toy.

Not too big or bulky. I love that it comes with a clip to hold everyday items like chairs. Works great, laser beams are bright. Perfect for one of those last minute purchases when you need to hang it on the wall quickly. My only gripe, though not necessarily, is that I can't just change the laser beams vertically or horizontally, but that doesn't bother me. It is thought through to the smallest detail.

Bought because I needed to hang pictures on the wall. This product is great. It's easy to use, the auto-orientation works great. Good visual indication when out of level (flashing). It is very easy to hang several dozen pictures on a wall. It contained 2 AAA batteries and a small "bracket" to attach it to a ladder or anything else you can clamp, making it easier to use. There is also a "hole" for mounting on a standard camera tripod.

The laser is very bright and has a very large range. I like that the device is small and easy to store in a tool bag. Seems to be a quality build. It has 1 line going up and down and 1 line going left to right. This is an automatic alignment, so you cannot adjust it manually. So far it's a bit shaky. It needs to be shaken a little to make it even. I always check the level with a spirit level. I probably won't get a really good level on my first try. Once you have it set up, it's good to go from

I received this to install some shelves in my garage. I need a spirit level and plumb lines at the shelf locations. A colleague said something about using something like this, so I went to look. Got this based on the features and price and I'm glad I did. I was able to mount this laser level on a 3 foot 1/4 piece with a 1/4-20 threaded insert and attach it to a large camera. Tripod to meet the level line and rotate the tripod head to find each bolt plumb line in turn. 3 sides of the garage made

I bought these to make custom closet shelves. At first I thought it was too big because my measurements from the floor didn't match. What I found was that the floor was 3/8" from one end of the cabinet to the other (tested with a spirit level). With that obstacle behind me, leveling the shelf supports was a breeze. I had 1x2 supports on three sides of each Support shelf (best seen on the top left shelf in the picture).I was able to hit all three with one shot instead of juggling a bubble level…
