Bosch vs Dremel 8220

Great tool Pros: LED light, noise level, Bosch batteries. Price. This is exactly the same as the Dremel 8220 but at top speed it is much quieter than the noise level of a Dremel at half speed. The LED is great for Bosch which is not in Dremel. Dremel Variable Speed Disc is much better than Bosch. Both the 8220 and this Bosh, Bosh without the Dremel attachments are nothing, but they have an excellent motor and assembly. but still more expensive. This is an amazing piece

To be honest this Dremmel is one of the best you can buy. I used this on a fiberglass overhaul on an early 70's sailboat (very heavily laid fiberglass). I've used this for cleaning welds and making small cuts in steel at a metal shop where we build and repair farm equipment to harvest and grind cranberry swamps (yes I'm from Massachusetts and no you can use this Dremmel not officially received). USA, manufacturer warranty void but I can't imagine this thing breaking unless you actively try) and

Great rotary tool if you already use Bosch 12v lithium batteries

I already have a Dremel rotary tool but it has a short twisted pair power cord which always gets in the way of using the tool let alone because an extension cable is required due to the short length. I wanted a cordless rotary tool, but one that would use the batteries I already have on hand. This tool uses the standard Bosch 12V lithium batteries that I have for my Bosch cordless drill, impact driver, oscillating tool etc, so it's a good addition to my toolbox.
