The drill is not what it was designed for

This drill was eventually replaced with a stronger dual carbide tip and made in the USA! The reason I gave it 2 stars is because it didn't break, but drilling 2.5" into a reinforced concrete deck took (no kidding) 30 minutes per hole. A US made drill did the same job in 5 minutes. Now it was twice as long but if I buy a special masonry drill I expect it to work!

Pros
  • Power & Hand Tools
Cons

Drill set incomplete

The quality of Bosch drills for masonry is excellent; There is no quality control in the Bosch packing department. I didn't get five different drill bit sizes, just four. Instead of a 3/16" drill bit, I got two 5/32" drill bits. Useless when trying to drill 3/16" pilot holes for 1/4" concrete anchors. Unfortunately, when I discovered the Bosch packaging error, it was too late to return the Revain kit.

Pros
  • Drill
Cons
  • weak

Solid shank, no recycled metal attached to the bit

These are great bits with a solid milled hex bit rather than recycled metal pressed into the bit. The top of the container screws almost two inches into the base instead of just popping out. The bits are firmly fixed so it will be difficult to pull out the first time. The bit holder actually separates and shows how the bits are held. When you open the bit holder, you can use a flathead screwdriver to pry the bits out of the base handle. After that, just don't push them all the way down and…

Pros
  • Jobber bit
Cons
  • Some little things
