Bosch SP0F000052 Style Mechanical Pressure Review

I've used them before and they've always worked well. Good for peace of mind with anything with the standard on-dash dummy low-pressure gauge. Excellent and affordable for diagnosing engine problems.

a few feet longer on a 1/8" line would be nice (including hair under 6ft) as would an LED light (but i think You can't have everything).

Plastic hose came loose while the woman was driving. What a mess. It is very difficult to screw the tube properly. If you over tighten it will break. If you don't tighten it enough, it will come loose. Next time I would prefer an oil meter with an electric sensor.

Junk. When I tried to install the pressure gauge, the threads broke and I hardly even tightened the nut. I contacted the manufacturer to take care of the product under the 1 year warranty and they said they would do nothing. Very dissatisfied, no recommendation to buy this product

I didn't want to buy this because there were some complaints about oil leaks or other crazy stuff. I installed it in my car a long time ago and it worked perfectly. It fits my setup much better than the cheap scale I had at the Autozone. Perfect for my purpose.

Ok I bought this to check my factory oil level gauge was reading correctly. After reading many reviews of cheap oil pressure gauges I decided on this one, this brand has been around for a long time I installed it under the hood of my truck next to the bulkhead just below the driver's side wiper. I bought a copper wire kit from an auto parts store for about $6. Installation was very easy and it looks pretty cool and it shows the same pressure as my factory gauge. does

I found the unit to be functional and accurate. I understand the issues with the small nylon cord putting pressure on the device. My beef is that it's coiled up for packaging and is very chewy. They recommend hot water to make it easier but since I only used the shorter length to let it curl naturally under the dash and engine bay. You have to be careful when using a compression fitting, but it's not that difficult to do. Just don't overtighten. I have a good one and it works fine. At $21 this…

This gauge is complete scrap. I swapped out a 1.8 engine for a Miata and needed an oil feed so I bought a mechanical sensor instead. I started the car for the first time after changing the engine and after reading the gauge I immediately shut it off as the oil pressure on the gauge was only 19 pounds.
