BOSTITCH BT1340B 16 Inch 18 Gauge Nails Review

Good product. Easy online shopping with home delivery. Saves me a lot of time and gives me more time to work on my hobby or just relax.

The product came and wasn't even in the box. It was in a brown envelope in small pieces of 1-10 nails. The box was folded into a brown cardboard box. If you have ever used a nail gun then you know that these nails cannot be used either.

I have been using Bostitch nailers and Bostitch nails/nails for 50 years. Initially for 30 years as a house builder and carpenter. Then in my home shop for a variety of projects. These core nails never get stuck in a Bostitch nailer unless I run into something they weren't designed for.

I recently used these with my Bostitch Brad Nailer to finish a Pergo laminate and have never had a shot unfinished. The reason I bought them from Revain is because my local big stores didn't have them in brown and I wanted to make sure they wouldn't show up. They were also a bit cheaper at Revain and combined with Prime's free 2 day shipping it was a great deal.

After three tries with fake rivets I bought my jack-of-all-trades and my Bostich stapler caught every other rivet (if it fired at all), I threw them in the trash and bought these. The weapon now works always and at all times. I will never try to save pennies again. My time is much more valuable than the insignificant difference in price!

As expected, they fit and work perfectly in my Bostitch nailer. Are they the best possible deal? You'll need to check in your area to make sure there aren't any sales going on there. The price for the quantity seemed reasonable to me, and they were practically guaranteed to work. In my experience there aren't many differences between brands, but if you want to be on the safe side it's nice that Bostitch makes their own.

I ordered a box of 1-9/16" Bostitch sticks along with a box of 2" Bostitch sticks. They arrived quickly but the box of 1-9/16" rods burst in transit and the rod guides were broken into small segments. The 1-9/16" pens were packaged in a cardboard case while the 2 received 2 -Inch pens were in a molded plastic container. Bostitch and/or Revain must learn to deliver these items without damaging them along the way.
