It was a great purchase. I got this for a project that involved a lot of stapling because my little weak little old lady's hands can't handle the manual stapler that my big strong husband uses. But now that we have it, he finds it useful too. It makes sewing so easy. I don't have much experience with different air staplers, so I don't know what could be better. But for my money it is not necessary. It's well made, well designed, easy to use, reliable, and beautiful.

Very good for upholstered furniture. The depth of the hoop is controlled by the pressure on the compressor regulator. There are no adjustments to the stapler. I saw the same stapler at my local hardware store for 35% more. The only downside is that there is no well-defined (or easily identifiable) place to place the braces. Smaller tips make it easier to see where the clip ends. This also takes some getting used to, but not too much of a problem for my needs.

I bought this to redecorate a large custom porch. This is a difficult task as the staples must be driven into the pressure treated wood. I've tried an electric stapler before and it failed miserably, it just didn't have enough power to drive in the pressure treated wood. This is much better and the staples are easily driven into the wood. But the stapler needs to be almost flat on the surface to work.
