Just because you're a size 38 doesn't mean you're 38 inches tall. learned the hard way today. I ordered 38 because my pants are that size. Put a belt in and thought it was the wrong size. nope The strap was medium sized, actually fitting 36 to 40 inches. Unfortunately, my thick pants might have fit a size 38, but I think the pants stretched with my stomach. I've been losing weight for a few months now so this belt will be great for me soon. In the meantime I have to get back on the bike.

This is actually my second Boston Leather velcro strap, I've had the brown one for almost a year and it still looks great from brand new. Arrived no less on time on Sunday! Thick leather that goes perfectly with the belt loops on my Dickie's work trousers. Leather does not wear out before the velcro. Thanks to another customer who answered a question about the length, I was able to get the exact size I needed. I wear a 36 waist on my work pants so they are a bit baggy. For an amateur umpire, it's good to have a belt without a buckle to avoid scratching the boxer shorts. Following other reviewers' recommendations, the strap fits perfectly and, while a bit stiff, is very comfortable to wear - I drove three hours to get to a recent event and didn't even notice I was wearing it. It looks sharp for that professional look. Thick leather won't double through my pants' belt loops, so I put velcro over the belt loop, which still looks good. Highly recommended.

Runs very well, first 3 days didn't open or stretch, then we started cleaning and replacing the ceiling panels Lots of dust and dirt in the air at work and before me clothes and Belts have slipped a bit but are easy to grab and adjust as they are very well made. Where some straps (because I have a size 4 belly) form an X sort of thing or are misaligned, this strap is strong and thick so the ends and velcro are easy to align.
