hard-wearing, classic, suitable for men

Very well made belt made of thick leather with embossed edges. My waist is 33" to 34" and the medium or next smaller opening is perfect for me on a 36" belt - so sizing is accurate. It's nice to know the US still does stuff like this.

Believe it or not, I spent an hour searching Revain for an authentic 1 1/4 inch wide men's leather belt. Sounds easy right? NO! I needed a 1 1/4" wide belt to meet some specific needs, but belt manufacturers and sellers don't seem to be able to read the ruler. Conflicting sizing, wrong metric to imperial conversions, and just plain inaccurate sizing were prevalent. I had high hopes for this American made belt but instead of 1.25" the belt size is 1.125" which is a full 1/8" smaller. I love the…

This is a decent belt made out of fairly thick leather. It is slightly stiffer than most business and leisure belts. For flight safety: the buckle attracts a magnet, as does the small steel clip on the back of the belt loop. Since the buckle is easy to replace by undoing the two non-magnetic latches, I replaced the steel buckle with a brass buckle from an old dress belt and replaced the steel belt loop with a piece of nylon rope.
