Not as pictured: Brows

Came with one gasket instead of two as pictured. I'd be ok if it didn't leak water, but it doesn't. I now have two non-working homebrew fermenters.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • too blunt

Works great for home brewing and wine making

For those who say they only get a trickle, the key is that you need to have a vent over the liquid to allow it to flow out properly. this applies to almost every spout. Without venting, all you get is a trickle. and the problem with dripping is that the grip has to face forward, not to the side.

  • Looks great

Works perfectly. No leaks.

Easy to install, these nozzles quickly transform an ordinary bucket into a dispenser, more so. Contrary to some advice about a 1" hole size, I used a 7/8" drill bit. All I had was a flat spatula and it worked fine. I used a sharp blade to scrape the hole inside and out. The silicone washers worked great and fit snugly. Will definitely get more of these.

So far so good - Home Brewing & Winemaking

I used this on a homemade bokashi bucket so you really don't want it to leak! It seems trustworthy. We had a bucket filled with water for about 24 hours to check for leaks before we started composting. I think everything will be fine. I've had one that looks exactly the same, came with a brew set and was good for about five brews, no leaks and no wear and tear from constantly taking it off to clean the nooks and crannies.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT BUSHING WASHER!

First I would like to say that I really like the pipes. Great price, they disassemble easily for cleaning and arrived very quickly. 4 stars only because I had to deal with it myself. PROBLEM: The sealing washers that came with the nozzle are made of a very hard material. When I tried to install the nozzle on a 2.5 gallon round glass jar, it leaked. I pulled the nut on as tight as I felt safe but she still licked. SOLUTION: The solution to this problem was to soak the pucks in BOILING water for…

  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Works well, the 5/16 ID hose is too small for it.

I bought it because it says the nozzle fits 5/16-7/16 ID pipes. The 5/16 tube is very difficult to put on. You need to dip the hose in hot water so it bends enough to fit over the nozzle. I'm worried about trying harder to put them on because the case is plastic and I didn't want to break it. The two included washers are slightly tapered/angled. I think it's important to put him on the right track. To make it airtight. The nut to tighten the bushing is very large, unfortunately I didn't have a…

Works but only one rubber washer per nozzle

The nozzle worked fine so I can't complain. But as some of the other reviews say I can confirm there was only one washer per tube and in a different material than pictured. Shown are two softer clear rubber discs. What mattered was one washer per bushing made of a harder white rubber (you have to really tighten that type of washer very hard to form a seal). It didn't really matter to me as I have a lot of extra washers from other brewing projects and equipment. I also think that for those with…
