Great protection from heat and dust for your Bouge RV fridge freezer

This is a great product to protect your fridge freezer and to reduce heat build up with the padded insulated cover. The silver material on the inside helps to reflect heat and the nylon outer material is very sturdy and can be wiped down if it gets dirty. The cover has two strong straps, one at either end to carry the fridge, but also has a cut out either end to allow use of the fridges handles if needed. A large cooler bag!

We have not tested the cooler in the outside environment at this time, but we did put the cover on the cooler in the house. It fits well, and will probably provide insulation for the cooler outside. It has straps for carrying the cooler, but I’m not sure how well those will hold up if you move the cooler frequently, because of the weight of the cooler. Plus, it requires two people to lift with the straps to make it more accessible, one person lifting it will find the straps awkward. It appears…

Good idea, bad implementation

The cover does thermally insulate the fridge from the environment. It does help the cool side initially. However, it also insulates the compressor side which ultimately leads to the heat being trapped inside. I noticed that with the cover on, the fridge keeps running for much longer and the compressor getting quite warm. As such it uses more energy. The works otherwise. I will have to modify it by cutoff the panel over the compressor.

Tidy toteable good for me

As described. Perfect fit, easy to slip on off, wipes clean. Worth money keeps investment from dirt and scratches and scrapes.

NEEDS MORE MATERIAL AT LATCH ACCESS

The cover fits very well except for at the front cover. It has to be pulled taut to be able to seal with the attached velcro. I also put an additional cover ( designed for an external generator) to keep the moisture out during heavy rain since it is kept outside of the RV while parked long term.

worked well for 3 week trip

I had my Bouge RV in it for 3 weeks of road trip camping. Worked well. Sometimes on hot days when I had been out of the truck a while, hiking etc, the top of refrigerator would get a little hot under the cover. Then I would just pull the cover off, and it would cool quickly. It was well-fitting, and did not interfere with the refrigerator exhaust fans. The pockets were great for holding charging cables, inverter, etc.

Great Fit!: my feedback

I purchased the BougeRv fridge and decided that I might as well go all in and grab the fridge cover while I’m at it. It seems to be well made with good materials. The fit is nice and tight on the fridge. The pockets on the outside are really handy for putting the plugs in when you’re not using them. It also has a couple of metal rings attached on the sides. Since the fridge doesn’t have any tie down points these might work for securing the fridge in the back of our Cherokee. That would be great

Can't believe this fits!

Our 42 qt refer/freezer has larger dimensions than this cover, so was happily surprised that it fit perfectly. Pretty good quality accept that one of the velcro pieces was not sewn on all the way but there are plenty more.

Seems like only advantages so far

It does actually reduce electricity usage by some amount, like at 32F setting 11 Watt without, vs 9 Watt with this cover (measured with killawatt over 15 hours). Seems like a small difference, but may be a big deal if a fridge runs from a battery. It has all proper openings for control panel, cable attachment, vents, handles (comes with its own straps which are pretty convenient). Opens really easy. Has a bunch of convenient pockets on the outside for cables and other stuff. Protects the case…

The 12-volt plug broke and the temperature is not accurate, I'm not happy with it!

I use this product on my sailboat I'm not happy with it I would not recommend it the 12-volt plug broke the first time I used it and the LED temperature indicator does not indicate the temperature that I set it at.

Protection for my opinion

I am sure it helps a little as far as insulation. I purchased it more for protection and cleanliness of the fridge. It also has a lot of pockets to store the adapters and wires that come with the fridge. Even little extra storage for more crap.

Solid, BUT performance is SO, SO

Looks good. Performance is just ok. Impressive looking but the thermostat is way way off. I had it set to 30 and put an instant thermometer in the unit. Registered 45. Still need to play with it to see if it will actually freeze anything. Can’t recall if I bought the extended warranty. Maybe the regular one will cover this issue.

Consider this mandatory for your BougeRV fridge

First off, the cover is made surprisingly well. There is some insulation present, reflective material, etc to help keep cold things cold and hot things hot. Zippers seem to be well made, nothing broke while I was installing it. Also includes some pockets on the outside that hold the 12V or AC adapter when you aren't using them. Awesome cooler/refrigerator/freezer

Purchase this for a road trip. Very quiet, is it a use and set up, keeps food at proper temperature, and cools down quickly. I would recommend anyone purchasing this purchasing the cover.

The fastners sewing was subpar, I ripped one from its place just trying to adjust the ring. I think more thicker fabric needs to be used.

Hope yours works better than mine

Using it in Semi.worksamazing when it works. Currently it is set at negative temperature and won't get below 40. 3 different occasions in 2 weeks that my food becomes unfrozen. So now I have zero food to eat. I was using the power plug to my inverter but that kept getting faults or maybe faulty adapter. Been using the cigarret plug and seems to work nicely.
