This product will not last long. I've had it for about two months and the LEDs and grid lines stopped working. I do not recommend!

The plastic lens cover of one of the LED headlights fell off at a car wash. The lens/camera is flooded with water, I would add some silicone to the light lenses.

Chrome license plate frame with vertically adjustable camera, you have the option to turn parking lines on and off and there are LEDs that turn on when the car reverses. I have several Boyo cameras and have never had any problems with them.

BOYO VTL300CL - Full Frame Rearview License Plate Camera with Parking Guidelines and LED Lights (Black) is the same product. the other failed after 3 years. It's a little pricey, but I just had to plug and play with my main unit.

This is my second last very similar but not the same unit has moisture damage on the camera. Let's see if this one survives more than a year after the last update in 2020: the one I bought in 2017 has failed, this is my third and if this one fails I will switch brands.

It never occurred to me that a backup camera would be available as a 'third party' add-on to the vehicle. I conducted my usual due diligence including interviews with several seller representatives. I chose the Boyo VTL300CL license plate camera and Boyo VTM4301 monitor. I asked my local Ziebart dealer to install them. Their technician told me it was a normal plug and play operation. Day and night views are great, as is the detail displayed.

This product is not intended to be installed by anyone. I would like to go back but I don't see an option. We took this to a high end audio store for installation and were told that not only was this item bad, but it would potentially ruin the radio and cause corrosion. We have one that is installed and completely rusted but thought something else happened to it. Obviously this is a problem of the product, not the owner. If it is possible to return this item, please contact me.
