I ordered the blue headphones and I can say the build quality and finish is top notch. Spring1 has many lows and smooth highs. The cable is ok, but since a lot of people switch cables, it's not a big deal.

These are the best headphones I have ever heard. The sound is unreal. Sound like in-ear monitors. I just played them on my unamplified iPod classic and they were crystal clear. I can't wait to put an amp on them. The only thing that bothers me is that the cable could be a bit longer. I also had to use some Comply foam tips (400) to get a good seal. They are a bit pricey but I highly recommend them! They are well built too. If you are looking for a good IEM, check these out, you won't regret it.

saw a couple of reviewers recommending them so thought I'd give them a try when I saw them on sale for $105. I can say that at $130 they are usually not worth it. You can either buy Moondrop Starfields and replace their stock cable, or buy Mystique Legacy 3. I've tried many IEMs, from cheap $20 to high-end $2,000+. I've never heard better value for money than the Spring 1. They sound 95% or more like a $1,250 Hyla Sarda set of headphones, but $1,000 cheaper. Lows are plentiful but not overbearing, clean with smooth decay. Despite the V-shaped sound signature, the mids are pleasant and present. The piezoelectric tweeter delivers very clear and clean high frequencies. All in all I'm a big fan of theirs. As a first serious IEM purchase they were fantastic and I would give them 5 stars for the incredibly tight bass and creamy highs---I mean wow! --- but unfortunately the left headphone seems to stop working 3 months later. as well as getting quieter. They fulfill exactly what they imagined. Anyone unfamiliar with piezoelectric circuitry, which is also used in acoustic and electric guitars, is hooked. The idea is that the piezo device is attached to the surface of the instrument, thus reproducing the natural characteristics and resonance of the instrument. These feathers do the same.
