Husband broke a rib while working on a boat. He was in great pain. I bought it hoping to relieve his pain. It arrived quickly and he wore it as soon as it arrived. It seemed to help him move much better without the pain he used to have. He's a big man, so I bought a very big one. It suited him well.

I chose the larger version even though 10 inches is too big for me. I love the flexibility to adjust the pressure of the brace, my ribs were sensitive before I injured them in an accident. The corset tends to compress, but it provides the perfect amount of compression on my injured lower right rib cage. It has helped a lot in relieving my pain, especially when moving, coughing or laughing.

This bandage is far more functional than the best types of bandages. Large enough to accommodate a stocky build and better not slip off like other cloaks. I've searched a lot for a good case and it was hard to find one that fits my stocky build. I know it's not fashionable these days to bandage severed or broken ribs, but I have to say bandaging was the only thing that helped ease the pain. Good price for a case.

This rib brace has been the difference between my ability to move fully or sit in a chair, either under the influence of drugs or in pain. The rib support keeps my ribs perfectly still when I move. The velcro is amazingly strong, so strong it's very difficult to remove. The elasticity of the fabric is sufficient. Based on how much it stretched in the first week of use I would expect it to last the 6 weeks it takes for the bone to heal and no more.

This product is comfortable, has no chemical smell and relieves pain from broken ribs. It all depends on which rib(s) you are trying to stabilize, speaking of it twisting or rolling down. When you sit, it doesn't roll. However, I wish the design had a bust cutout because it obviously rolls in that area. This is useful for rib issues in both men and women as long as women are not trying to stabilize a rib that is NOT near the breasts. It doesn't suit my needs due to where my hernia is located…
