BEFORE CHOOSING YOUR SIZE โ€” Watch the video and refer to our sizing chart (the second image above) for measuring instructions. For best results, have someone take your measurements for you. REVERSIBLE SUPPORT โ€” This J-lat patella stabilizer features a C buttress, which provides customizable support on either the inside or outside of your knee. INJURY PREVENTION โ€” Designed to protect against medial and lateral subluxation, a dislocated knee, patellofemoral pain syndrome, runnerโ€™s knee, chondromalacia, patellar tracking, and alignment issues. MEDICAL-GRADE DESIGN โ€” Made of premium-grade neoprene, two stabilizing and flexible aluminum metal spiral stays on each side (4 total), and a compression molded, textured neoprene buttress. OPEN PATELLA โ€” The circular opening around your kneecap helps reduce pressure directly over your sore patella and makes this average to plus size knee splint extra flexible and breathable, in comparison to solid knee sleeves.

Suitable for teenagers Suitable for knee pads

I bought two of these. One for each of my daughters who play soccer, basketball and running. The only criticism is that the straps go on the inside of the opposite leg. Bought a compression sleeve for the other leg and no more complaints.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons

Great Quality - Knee Pads

My son has tried SEVERAL knee pads over the years and this one has thick strong velcro which you can see lasts much longer than previous knee pads. Very nice design. Excellent kneecap support and non-slip. The size chart is accurate. So far he is very satisfied.

Pros
  • Lots of good vibes
Cons
  • Not bad

Platella Knee Brace

This is an excellent brace and so far the only one that has helped my father with a patellar tendon injury. Because it's reversible, it doesn't matter if the injury is lateral or medial; so, although it's a bit more expensive, it's definitely worth every penny of its price.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • No automatic controls

My son's lower kneecap groove is too shallow, causing his kneecap to move constantly. His podiatrist recommended wearing it during daily activities and it helps keep it in place. It's easy to use and stays in place. Well done and does the job. I hope that and the physical therapy will keep him away from the surgeon!

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • There are nuances

too expensive for what you get

Very, very expensive for a poorly designed knee brace. Just one day of use and I doubt it can help heal a sprained knee like other conditions. The same should not be offered. Knee brace for left and right knee, our body is not symmetrical. The cross straps don't hold the position when you bend your knee. The main material is neoprene, so it is very hot. Do not use in summer or under trousers. Because of this, you have to wash it, but daily? or buy 60 dll x 7 days and one per day of the week?

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

2nd review, still good out of box but not very durable

I've had four of these braces and for me, at least with my medial knee issues, the brace feels snug and supportive but not restrictive for my very active life with lots of cardio and weights. My TA liked it too. After some experience with it, I should also say that you'll probably need to buy a replacement on a regular basis, maybe every few months or so, if you want it to be really tight and functional? After a while some of the material seems to tear and the velcro wears out so I keep tryingโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • So far so good
