🌊 Water-Resistant Compression Support for Tendonitis - BraceAbility Review

I have an ankle condition called Dessican Osteochondritis. I wear a corset until the operation. Since walking is difficult, I decided to try aqua aerobics and exercise at the local Y (with doctor's permission). This bracket is fantastic. This gives me enough support to participate without pain or discomfort. It is also very comfortable to wear. Highly recommended.

I was in an accident and sprained my ankle badly. Of the many braces I've tried, this one has given the best support. It is very easy to use - no need to wrap assines around an elastic band; it doesn't pinch or bother my skin - some I've tried had grippy silicone or some material that irritated my skin and I can get it best in shoes. It is easy to wash and dries quickly too. My ankle felt secure as it healed. I definitely recommend this product.

This brace is great! I am a swimmer and needed support after breaking my ankle. This is the first orthosis that works in water! The velcro is very strong so it stays attached for two miles of sailing; where other velcro suspenders have come off and elastic suspenders have lost their elasticity! It also offers great support! I injured a tendon in my right ankle and I really wanted to do aqua aerobics again. On dry land I still wear an orthosis with stabilizers and was looking for something for the water. This brace provides light support and still fits my water shoes. It's easier to put on. Much less velcro than my ground brace. It is also spread out on a flat surface to dry. Incredible Aqua Gym and ankle support after a horrible sprain that kept me walking in boots and crutches for weeks. 6 weeks after the incident I was able to re-enter the pool and continue with water aerobics. I used this brace while recovering from a badly sprained ankle while swimming in the Bahamas. I swam with it and used it around the boat. It worked very well and was very comfortable. I was partially healed and there wasn't as much support as my Zamst A2-DX brace which was amazing but it couldn't have worked better for the use I had it in. I am a women's size 8' and this SM/M was one of 4 wrap braces I tried. This was the most comfortable and had the best holding power of the velcro (although it does require a bit of tugging and force to untie the velcro!). The big issue for me was the size of the heel hole. Other brands I've tried gave me deep dents in the sole of my heel and caused discomfort in that area, making walking painful. The main reason I chose this brace is because it's advertised as waterproof and you can put it on without having to put anything on your foot. I recently fractured my ankle (lateral ankle is a bulge on the outside, Weber type A) and my doctor said I can weigh it down in a hiking boot and swim.
