A time saving tool for measuring the brake pad lining on the vehicle without removing the wheel. Special slim design for measuring the distance between the lower side of the backing plate and brake disc. Designed for both internal and external brake pads, features a 1.5mm and calibration check marking. Capable for 6mm backing plate (class IV, V).

Perfect Tool for Precision Brake Measurements

Great for intended use. What's so good about that? This means that the measurement of the pad backing plate is removed and you only get the actual measurement of the pad.

This design is the best available for measuring brake pad thickness on a vehicle.

I use nothing else when checking my car's brakes. The tool is so easy to use and read that anyone can do it the first time. I bought mine in Europe because they just weren't available in the US. and have been using it for a number of years now. It's just the perfect tool for the job. So glad to see JTC has them now. I will order the rest of the mechanics.
