This ignition switch is heavy duty, easy to install and works great. Labeling on the back showed where certain connectors should be. The last switch I ordered from another supplier lasted less than two years on my boat. I hope this copper block lasts a long time. The time will show.

I am really shocked that someone is selling a defective product. Designed for Marine Corps use, this brass and steel switch is beautiful in appearance. And then he stops. A key fits snugly but won't turn. The second key turns when you fight it. Brass corrodes in salt water. but sent it back, went to NAPA.

Seems to work well and is made of solid material. But the large electrical part in the back was too big and banged into my dashboard. Also, it was strictly round and no slit like the one that came in stock. So if your boat is the same as mine don't take it but other than that it's a good substitute!

Action button not as smooth. A little dull when turning. The included hex nut is very thin. It cannot have more than 1 full internal thread and worst of all the 3 screws used to attach the wires are difficult to tighten because the grooves on the screw heads are not very deep. You have to push the screwdriver so hard that you end up bending the tabs.
