I'm a bit surprised that you can't remove the foil on this Braun shaver to see/clean the cutting blades. Instead, the blades are in a cartridge that can be replaced when they become dull. It's a minor thing, but it was what I expected and I make sure to thoroughly clean and sanitize my blades between each use.

I bought a Braun Series 5 to replace a Norelco triple head shaver that I have used for seven years and I highly recommend it. For my mustache, this brown offers a much better shave than anything I've had before. He shaves much more closely - I would call it "a day closer" as the next day after shaving it feels like I just shaved Norelco.
