2 weeks of wear, then ripped

These were amazing until it wasn't. My daughter wore them lightly for 2.5 weeks. It never got wet and never made it to a hard day of play. The outer coating peeled right off! For $50+ and Keens, I would expect more. Sooooo disappointed!

Pros
  • Easy to break in for maximum comfort
Cons
  • They may not be suitable for kids with plantar fasciitis

long time keen buyer here

These are gorgeous! These are the high quality keen I have come to expect where even after two or 3 kids wear it i am still able to sell for a few bucks at consignment! These are really well made. I got the 4 for my big kid and I bought it a little big because this is intended for summer and it is currently winter. I love the toe protection and the toe room. Thing I don't like about keens is the treads are not the BEST and not as sticky as some other outdoor shoes.

Pros
  • Adjusted lacing for a secure fit
Cons
  • The material may not be vegan-friendly

Good shoes, just didn't last very long.

I buy Keen shoes for my 4 year old because of their durability. The shoes usually last about a year and these ones only lasted a few months. The velcro strap started ripping away and falling apart. It could have been just a one time thing because I have had very good experience with the past 3-4 pairs that I have purchased.

Pros
  • KEEN
Cons
  • They may not be suitable for all weather conditions

Do not buy this model

I've been a fan of keen shoes, but the upper part of THIS MODEL could not resist more than three months of usage. The soles of the shoes are intact though. Although they look cute, I do not suggest to buy these shoes for kids. I would try other keen if you like the brand as I do.

Pros
  • Can be worn in different weather conditions
Cons
  • They may not be suitable for kids with narrow feet

Nice shoes but still lost figuring out size

These are nice shoes for kids and look good. The problem I always have buying any clothes for our grandchildren is the size. Our oldest grandson is 8 so is he little kid or big kid? If you buy too small there's nothing you can do. But if buy too big you can wait for them to grow into the shoe. Thinking little kids are age 3 or 4 I ordered size 2 big kids which turned out to be too long. When in doubt. looking forward to when he can wear them.

Pros
  • Can be worn with or without socks
Cons
  • They may be too plain for some kids

Broke in a month in my review

Easy to put on and off. The sole is as hard as a rock, but my son didn’t complain. The strings broke within a month from just regular school activities( no hiking & other activities involved). Not worthwhile

Pros
  • Shoes
Cons
  • The fabric may shrink after washing

Great shoes. in my review

We have two active boys: 9&7. These shoes are worn 50% of the time, but for heavy play, playing outside and scouting. Durable, dependable and cleans well. I am surprised to see the other reviews w damage. This has not been our experience with 4 pairs

Pros
  • Cool and trendy design that kids will love
Cons
  • They may not be easy to put on for younger kids

Perfect For an active little man!

Best shoe we have found, my son loves being outdoors, whether it is dragging his feet on his bike, running in muddy puddles, climbing; etc. his shoes aren’t long lived. These have lived to tell the story, & have held up!

Pros
  • Affordable price point for families on a budget
Cons
  • The material may not be waterproof

Fell apart well before kid outgrew

These seemed nice initially but fell apart within a month of use. They were expensive and would expect a lot more from shoes at this price point. Also they run small

Pros
  • Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry
Cons
  • The sizing may not be consistent across different styles

Daughter Loves These

My 2-year-old is obsessed with her rain boots. These are the only shoes that can compete, in her opinion. I have washed them twice so far and they come out perfectly.

Pros
  • Removable insoles for easy cleaning and maintenance
Cons
  • The colors may show dirt easily

Not a sandal! best in my review

As you can probably tell by the picture, these are real shoes. I don't know why they're being called a water shoe or a sandal. The look like, feel like and fit like normal shoes.Anyway, my daughter and I think these "shoes" are just too cute. Even more so in person. She says they are very comfortable and we found them true to size. The upper material is very thick and durable. It feels like it will last until she outgrows them. The soles are flexible and the bottoms have plenty of grip. I also…

Pros
  • Breathable mesh upper to prevent odors
Cons
  • The material may not be eco-friendly

Great trail shoe - my new review

Really great trail shoe, it was so comfortable and my kid loved it. Great traction on bottom and actually dried off well!

Pros
  • I bought a purple pair for my 3 year old granddaughter who loves to hike with her parents. 💜
Cons
  • They may not be suitable for all types of foot shapes

Velcro Wore Out In Two Weeks

I usually love KEEN products, I purchased these shoes for my 8yo and within two weeks the velcro was coming off. I was going to return, but it's been a month and a week or so since purchase.

Pros
  • Ankle support for added stability and balance
Cons
  • They may not provide enough arch support

Poor quality - ripped after 1 day of wear

Shoe fit well for my child, but one day of play at school and he came home with a hole in the fabric. To be unwearable after one day, especially at this price point is quite sad and disappointing. Will not be purchasing more unfortunately. I had high hopes for a durable toddler shoe, however this is not it.

Pros
  • Lightweight design for comfortable wear all day long
Cons
  • The shoes may not be flexible enough for all activities

Not really sandals - my new review

Not exactly sure why these shoes are called sandals. Because they are basically sneakers, albeit very flexible ones. As always, Keen quality is impeccable. These shoes are comfortable, light, well made and durable. Nothing to complain about.12/19/2021

Pros
  • Can be worn with a variety of outfits and styles
Cons
  • They may become smelly over time
