The Bambino actually has very fast start times for both espresso and milk frothing. A car that starts quickly is much less polluting than a car that has to run overnight, which is the case with most more expensive cars. Although the Bambino starts up in 3 seconds, the instructions say you should cycle with an unfiltered cup before beginning your first shot.
