This pot is ideal for brewing hot or cold tea. It can dispense hot water without heating the handle and is the perfect size for my 3.1 cu ft mini fridge. The mouth is very wide so it is very easy to wash and clean. I don't like the included filter as I think it's too narrow for tea, but that's not a problem for me as I use an extra fine strainer that I bought in Japan. It's impossible to pour coffee without spilling coffee absolutely everywhere. It's like trying to pour liquid from an ordinary glass. Looks very solid overall. It was very easy to clean, even the filter which I think had coffee residue stuck to it. Since I don't have a dishwasher, I wash everything by hand. The water quantity mark on the glass is only correct if there is a cup of coffee in the filter. So the actual capacity is 5 cups, not 4. My only concern is that the filter seems very fragile. I'm surprised how well this pot works! Simply add your favorite ground coffee to the filter, fill to the fill line with cold filtered water, cover and refrigerate overnight. The filter holes are so thin that it takes a minute or two to add all the water to the pot, but that's a small price to pay for the resulting ragweed.
