This product promises to make capping bottles for home brewing easy, but it failed to deliver. My analysis of this product showed that it frequently did not seal bottles properly, causing spills and wasted beer. The one positive aspect was that it was lightweight and easy to handle. However, this didn't make up for the frustrating experience of using it. I would recommend looking for a more reliable option for your home and kitchen brewing needs.

I only managed to cap one bottle out of 3 because the bottle neck broke twice and on the third try the cap and broken neck got stuck in the cork.

I worried about the plastic tool, not the metal tool, but it is very heavy and hard. I've only made a few dozen bottles so far so can't comment on durability, but so far I'm happy with it. Sometimes I feel like the cap won't flex until I twist the bottle a quarter turn. I don't know if it's related to the tool, the cap, the bottle, or the user. It didn't happen often. It's a weird, comfortable feeling when the cap is screwed on properly.
