Turns on in a locked closet. Drains battery

I loved this light until a few weeks after owning it, I realized it that the light went out better dimmer and dimmer until it died about 5 weeks after installation. I thought it would constantly turn on in my closet when closed (no movement) but I skipped turning it off in order to be able to bring it back. What a waste of time and money.
