These lights may look a bit garish in the photo but they are actually perfect. They made my old dim tail/brake lights look like modern cars. Everything worked great, I only used them as a replacement for my old 1157 bulbs. By leaving the front bulbs in place I didn't have to change the turn signal. As mentioned, if you're using them for taillights make sure you have red LEDs.

Just received in 3 days of order! Installed them this afternoon on my old 1986 Ford F150. I replaced them with blinkers and blinkers. This is by far the best LED kit I've come across. I had a set of Sylvania LEDs ($20 for 2) on the front behind the amber lenses and they even dwarfed them in daylight! I still had lightbulbs in the back. I didn't need a load balancer when I installed them, so keep that in mind. But these are amazing! Can't beat the price either. Hope they last and last.

I recently bought a '99 Civic EX Coupe and had to replace all the lights because they were either burned out or dimmed. In this case it was the second. 1 Very BRIGHT --- Purchased for a 1994 CHEVY 1500 2WD pickup truck. Includes replacement bulb #2357 chaser. 2, not directly connected, GM socket needs to be modified with a Dremel tool to fully install this LED bulb. There is absolutely no way around it. They will not work with a standard GM 2357-- OR 1157.3 lamp holder. If you don't have the time, Dremel tools, or foresight to modify ammo, SAVE YOUR MONEY. And buy another led bulb 1157--2357. The product shines but it's the best I can say. While the bulb on the outside of the car is a lot brighter than the regular bulb inside the case, it's not as impressive. Incandescent bulbs emit light in almost every direction, LEDs have very limited spread, and unless your packages manage to position the LED at the perfect angle, it won't emit much light through the lens. THE BIGGEST NEGATIVE, however, is the horrible way they are designed. They allow static electricity to return to the radios.
