Hello! I love that this purchase comes with 2 filters as the filter needs to be changed every 8 weeks to ensure the best quality. Considering how much tastier my water is drinking it through a filtered Brita bottle, the price isn't bad at all. Small filter and very easy to swap out the old one for the new one.

Great replacement filters for your Britta bottles, don't forget to change them and you won't have any odor problems. Replace them sooner if you go to a place with really smelly water. Bacteria will ruin your bottle even after you clean it. And no, you can't clean the filters, just rinse them and follow the directions so you don't end up with charcoal in your bottle or mouth the first time.

I went through the first round of filtering in my Brita bottle. They lasted about 2 months at about 1/2 gallon per day (8 fills). I believe it has a life expectancy based on average usage of 40 days, so I think it's held up quite well. Towards the end it becomes more and more difficult to suck water through them and eventually you really notice that the chlorine taste doesn't go away. Change it after 40 days and you'll be fine.

Filters are always good. You have to rinse the filter to remove carbon dust from them, but after they're rinsed and soaked, just pop them into a regular Brita water bottle or sports bottle and they work great. Depending on the intensity of use, they last for several months. They won't crack, don't shed char dust after rinsing, and won't clog as they age. Additional filter to complement the bottle. They were cheaper than all the stores I shop at so I took 2 packs. You get about 300 bottles of filtered water before changing the filter, which is quite a lot. I drink about 4 bottles of water a day so the filters last a long time. Do not rinse with hot water and do not remove the filter when cleaning the bottle. Hot/warm water deactivates the carbon in the filter and you get less benefit.
