Brix 2251 JarKey Metal Opener Review

Bought to make opening jars easier. It doesn't work well at all. It was difficult to lift the lid with him. When you were finally able to remove the lid, the lid was broken. We use jars to store some products and seal them with a protective lid. This product is not suitable for our use, especially in today's environment where caps are hard to come by.

This is such a simple tool that is changing the kitchen for the whole world. From tiny baby food jars to 64 oz pickle jars, this metal jar opener will handle it all. The baby food jars are so tiny and difficult to handle, but they are 64 ounces. Some are too big to handle, but this tool makes it easy to work with cans of both sizes. Opening a jar just got easier!

I'm disabled and I haven't been able to open banks on my own for decades. Occupational therapists recommended other devices so I could open jars myself, but none of them really helped. This one does! My good hand can use it to break the seal and then open the lid with one hand. A few years ago we had a plastic one but it wore out quickly, this one promises to last a lot longer.

In the past I've bought these electronic can openers ($20+) and a bunch of other weird looking gadgets because I've always had trouble opening vacuum lids. This metal can opener knocked the rest out of the water! I can't speak for the plastic one, but the metal one is the best (it's very pretty too!). I think I'll have to buy another one because I'm afraid it might get stolen!

OMG! The thing really works. My husband has been telling me this for a long time, but it never made sense to me. As my bones age, I was willing to try anything. MY GOD! I wish I could go back in time and save all the time, energy, pain and frustration I went through trying to open every difficult can! And everything is simple and compact.

I don't know why they don't sell well in the US. Not available for decades! I spend a lot of dollars and bruise my hands trying on every item at the local stores. I found a little help from one but they solved ALL my JAR opening problems. I bought a few for gifts. The only complaint is that I paid $11 for Metal Jarkey and knew it was too much at the time, but was determined to find a solution.
