Although it allows me to cut the peel without cutting the orange, it is not as easy to use as shown in the video. The device doesn't slide easily under the skin to unscrew and I'm afraid I'll hurt myself if I do it the way the video shows. I like it. Although I think it works better as a lemon peeler because the skin is thicker and the serrated edge somehow handles this knife better. I have an old, I mean old, Tupperware orange peeler that outperforms this orange peeler. This knife has a thin, straight edge and appears to be slicing straight through orange peel. But in general, if you can find straight-edged orange knives, they might be a better choice. (Maybe if you can find old Tupperware at a flea market?)
