Perfect for replacing my bathroom fan motor

My fan broke and started making horrible noises. I wasn't sure how old it was when I bought it, so it worked for a long time. It was an easy exchange. Unscrew the old motor, remove the fan from the old one, put it on the new one, screw it back on and plug it in. It's so easy a caveman could do it. If you can't figure it out, search for a video and double check your fan model and current motor to make sure you've picked the right one.

So easy to install

This was a direct replacement for a Nutone HD80NT motor that was installed about 10 years ago. All you have to do is remove the grill (springs), turn off the engine and use a flat knife. Screwdriver to pry the side of the housing away from the motor mount and it will fall straight out (hinged on the tabs on the opposite side). Remove 2 nuts to remove motor. Reverse the process and it will reappear with a nice "click". I also replaced the squirrel cage fan to make sure everything is clean and…

Easy to install but a bit noisy

My original bathroom fan was making a rattling noise. I disassembled everything and cleaned it a few times, but the noise came back very quickly. I bought this fan as a replacement and also bought an impeller to go with it. Excellent value for money and quality. Installation was very easy. I turned the switch off for safety but it wasn't really necessary as the fan and lamp have normal plugs to connect to the light fixture so no wiring was required. I removed the lamp cover and bulb.
