Like some other reviewers, I found the slot that the mount fits in is too small. I had to cut a narrow groove to fit the bracket as shown in the instructions. The rest of the braces are very good. The lip in the bracket on the bottom that fits the 2 x 8's I'm using, which I bought from Home Depot by the way, needed a bit of tweaking.

Note that when digging the screw holes, there is a square just below the round head that won't fit in your freshly drilled holes. I drilled out about 1/8" with a large drill bit and then tapped it with a rubber mallet. Also, one of my nuts was too small to fit the bolt. Luckily I had one in my junk drawer that did. Item arrived on time. Happy with product and price. I had to go with a block that had end plates, plates that sit on the bottom so as not to ruin the 2x6s used. I didn't do it though because this unit was a bit cheaper and I can make my own backplates for the ends. The top ends are excellent, durable, molded ramp ends that will last a long time and can be used over and over again. It came with non-slip pads, hardware and aluminum ramps for the top plate.
