I have to say it's a cool hat! I was a little surprised that it came in a huge box, but when I opened it I saw that it was carefully packed not to bend the hat. Outstanding quality and design.

Seriously, this is cool. I bought it for my husband. A few months ago I bought one for $20 from Target that became flexible when wet with sweat or water. This one, on the other hand, has been through a lot, from mowing the lawn to boating. Really worth the price. Fit is a bit odd. I mean the top is quite high so it looks a bit off. Either way it's cool

Just received the hat and it was better than I expected, especially for the price. This hat is definitely not as well made as the more expensive ones but for my teenage grandson who uses it for work and play it is perfect, fits well and looks good. And he likes it, and that's the main thing. It was a little stuffed and bent from the shipping box, but I was able to straighten it. The delivery came much earlier than the expected date, hence the fifth star instead of four. Good service !

Love love love. Totally overpriced, but what are you thugs doing? Do it yourself. Well stitched, all the details seem to be better than average quality. Only about a month old but works great. Update after 3 months: I still love the hat, even though I rode at the amusement park it's bent at the brim. Complete degradation of the material. I still like the hat, but the material doesn't tolerate kinks. Wondering if the ones with fabric on the bottom are more durable? Maybe heavier?

I have yet to try it on the beach but the straw feels soft and flexible and the brim is big enough for some good summer sun. Nice design overall - I wear a size 7 1/8 hat and the elastic around the brim keeps the hat secure on my head.

I bought this hat and a Brooklyn Surf Wide Brim Raffia Hat. They're both great, and since they're from the same manufacturer, some of what I'm about to say is similar. I have a pretty big head but this hat suits me! It's a one size fits all so you might think people with small heads would swim in it, but there's a thick elastic band inside that stretches or compresses to accommodate more or less space. Great hat. Good protection for those sunny days. I have a big head (laughs) but the hat fit perfectly. The elastic inside adapts to any head shape. The plastic form that comes with the hat is great for keeping the hat in shape. The straw appears to be quite durable and seems to last a while. I like it.

Changed my rating from 5 stars to 1. Bought this for a trip to Hawaii. Arrival was great and I put it on for my flight but it ripped on the first day at the beach! I can't contact the seller and Revain doesn't help, about 30 days after purchase. Do not buy! Get the best quality hat with some real business services. Very upset that I cannot contact the seller for this, but after several attempts I am changing this rating
