Comfort and good looks

You are more attractive in life, perhaps a little more depressed. That's a plus for my husband. This is his second pair of Brooks and we are happy with this brand. He ran 4 miles this morning and came home with happy feet which is great for a first outing in new shoes. The rounded toe is much more comfortable as the toes have room to move. Landing is excellent and quite soft. 4X is ideal for wide feet. I bet he will have a third pair of Brooks in the future when they are more than 10.5 4X wide.

Pros
  • SUPER SOFT padding: BioMoGo DNA, our signature padding, adapts to your stride, weight and speed. Why? So it can protect you by reducing the impact on your joints.
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Very hard/supportive. Suitable size

Perfect for my needs! They're very stiff - like my Ancient Brooks GTS 5. I'm in physical therapy recovering from major cancer surgery that involved all three hamstring muscles. The physio said my Hokas were too soft and my Brooks GTS 19s were too soft. I spoke to Brooks support and they recommended Addiction 14 for me. And it was spot on. They may not be soft enough when I can walk again, but they are perfect for walking. Great for the same size 10 as the GTS 5. Comfortable toes even for my…

Great for those with Achilles tendon pain or sensitivity

I've had a few pairs of Brooks (mainly the Ghost series) but recently became addicted to them for the first time. I've had two achilles tendon surgeries on my left ankle and always feel tenderness above the heel in the area of the achilles tendon. The dependency is GREAT as the inner heel of the boot sits a little high (with good cushioning) so the outer back of the boot sits lower on my ankle and doesn't put pressure on the Achilles area. I'm always looking for comfortable shoes for my…

Best Waking & Runners Sneaker

What cool sneakers. Works well with your feet, especially when walking or running. I'm glad I chose these shoes. I have problems with pain in my feet, ankles or balls of my feet with most running shoes. I've tried Nike and Adidas brands with little success when it comes to long walks or runs. It has been scientifically proven that these running shoes work well with your body weight, movements, etc.; The first two days I had to get used to wearing these Brook shoes because I was used to Nike…

Whether you're looking for comfort or pain relief and haven't found it in a standard shoe, this shoe could be your number one choice. This Brooks Addiction 14 shoe is a PDAC A5500 certified diabetic shoe and has received the APMA seal of quality.

Can be a good running shoe but has a design flaw.

I used to wear this shoe because it was a great all round walker at a reasonable price. However, since I developed plantar fasciitis (heel spurs), I found adrenaline much better (but only suitable for walking). A few years ago all Brooks started using a ridiculous new padded ankle collar. It digs into the Achilles tendon and knuckles and is so soft that within a month it will be crushed to the point of being chewed by a dog (built-in expiration date?). Also, there is now an issue with the back…

Pros
  • MAXIMUM SUPPORT: Our Progressive Extended Bar Bar (PDRB) is a full body support system. It strategically positions arch support to guide and keep your body in its natural path of motion.
Cons
  • Only available in black

All-day cushioned comfort

I'm not a runner; I bought these as hiking shoes so I can't comment on them for running. They are one of the most comfortable I have ever had. They have a soft but supportive comfort. I have wide legs; I usually wear 9.5 wide. After reading the reviews I decided to buy both the 2E and 4E widths as some reviewers felt they were a bit narrow. I ended up leaving 4E and returning to 2E. They appear to be very well made. I used to wear the New Balance 990 series until they changed their production…

Pros
  • ROOMY FIT: Sometimes you need a little more freedom of movement. So if you need more airy shoes for flat or thick feet or special orthopedic insoles, your search is over.
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
