These Bobbins Are Awesome! I use it in a Brother SE-400 sewing and embroidery machine. So far I've made about 10 designs with different threads and not a single break or split. It's true that these spools DO NOT have a thread lock on the end, but I simply used an Exacto knife and cut the plastic base. I also read that some buyers did not receive the color chart. I purchased this item in January 2017 when I bought my Brother embroidery machine and have been trying to use it ever since. There's a $40 dental floss that I can't use.
