Not for everyone in printers and accessories

But perfect for me! It was frustrating to keep paying big bucks for replacement cartridges for my HP color printer, mainly because I didn't use it enough, especially for color copying. The ink dried up and even a black-and-white copy could not be made at the time. Brother proved to be just what I needed for my infrequent printing needs. Black and white copies are very clear and you can make multiple copies very quickly. Compact and inexpensive. If I ever need a color copy I will find another…

Buy it. Office Electronics Printer

I bought this printer to replace an Epson color printer that was costing me a lot of money every month. As a writer and student, I'm constantly printing text documents, but every two weeks I've had to change random colors because they ran out at different times. Our town doesn't have a good selection of printer inks, so I had to shell out $47 every time a color failed. BUT NOT ANYMORE! This black and white printer is the best! I love this bad boy so much. It's fast, compact and only prints in…

USB cable not included! Cannot be installed!

The DEFAULT company does not include the USB cable required to install the printer! How is that even legal? The website asks you to "borrow" the printer cable. From here? By whom? The installer WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO INSTALL THE PRINTER WITHOUT A USB CABLE! An absolute joke from the company and the last Brother printer I will ever buy.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Fits

Wow, easy to set up

I played around with the new HP printer for hours but it never worked properly. The roll has always been a bit off. Threw it on the garbage heap. Now I was able to take this Brother out of the box, follow the clear instructions, insert the disc, load the software, then press print on the document and it printed! I used UBC cable. It took me half an hour to do everything and I'm not a techie. And it prints so fast! I am very impressed and happy!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Compatibility

This printer is working efficiently and well after a few weeks of use. The only downside is that it doesn't come with the cable you need to connect your printer to your computer. Luckily I had my old one on hand, but I spent hours figuring out how to wire it up before I saw a tiny illustration in the instructions showing the cable. Since there was no cable, I assumed that I could connect the two devices electronically.

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • Available in white only

It doesn't work - keep shopping

It doesn't work as is, ready to use. They advertise a USB connection as if it were a simple plug and print situation - it's not. You need a special cable that is not included in the scope of delivery. I had to look closely at the reviews to see that this was a common theme and yet they still haven't updated their description to make it clear to buyers. When I emailed the seller to ask about the cable, they didn't apologize and said I could search YouTube for something to connect to Wi-Fi…

Very impressive! in Printers & Supplies

I wish I had bought this printer years ago! I received this device earlier than expected. It was only sent to me in the packaging but was in perfect condition. It took longer to deploy than it did to install and use. The directions could have been improved a bit, but I just took my time and used common sense and it worked without too much effort. Also, in fairness, I suspect the CD that came with it probably has a much better guide than the quick start guide. Based on some of the reviews I read

Tough little workhorse **UPDATE 1 year later, still loving it**

So far I've printed over 5000 pages (3700 in 2 days) on this bad boy, using both original inks and cheaper refurbished and Non original ink. I understand that publicly acknowledging the use of non-OEM inks will void my warranty and I agree to that. This is a good printer and people should know that it does a great job using recycled ink. I have used Toner Jockey and Ink E-Sale which work great in this printer and work pretty much the same. I often had to clean my printhead to keep my prints…

Why are you fooling me brother?

80 euro printer for 260 pages? Drum. toner cartridge. Printer. The printer will not function if the photoconductor and toner cartridge fail. How often does that happen? According to his brother, the photoconductor is enough for "12,000" pages. (DR-630 $88.48) (Complete Printer (HL-L2320D) $83.99 as of 12/2019). So if the drum fails, the printer is a financial ruin. Brother advertises a toner cartridge for 2600 pages. (TN-660 $55.00) You need 4 of these to get a drum life of 12,000 pages. (4…
