Brother HL2230 Monochrome Laser Printer Review

Unfortunately I have to give this printer a very bad rating. It's fast, easy to install, and prints crisply even in draft mode. When the original toner cartridge ran out, I bought a Brother toner cartridge from Office Depot which was said to print up to 1200 pages. I always set the print option to "Draft" to use less toner. I used to use an HP 3520 inkjet printer and hated changing cartridges almost every three months because the ink dries up, clogs or just flat out after about 100 pages. Apparently I made a deal based on the current price which is between $80-$90. and I bought free shipping from Revain on 12/20/2012. It works fast, prints well and was ALMOST easy to install. I use it as a shared printer on my home network (it's not a network printer but can be used through a router) but the software CD that came with it was a problem.
