Brother Intl LX3817: The Ultimate Lightweight and Full-Size Sewing Machine! Review

I love this car! I'm a beginner and have tested this item on some heavy fabrics (including denim) and it hasn't let me down yet. It has its quirks, like any machine, like the thread tangling, but it's still great. I broke 2 needles because I was overconfident with the amount of fabric I was sewing, but there are 3 extra needles in the set so I have yet to buy replacements. 5 months hard!

I am a professional seamstress but I only have one power machine. Sew straight seams only. I also have an serger, but I needed something that does loops, zigzags, decorative stitches. That's it. Not difficult at all, especially with the CD with all the "HOW TO USE!" The instructions are very clear and I have made 30 AMERICAN GIRL DOLL dresses, suits, hats, coats and jackets with zips.
