Ends too soon

This item sold out quickly. I actually printed more pages with the standard capacity yellow cartridge. I thought maybe I had a bad cartridge so I bought a set of 3 Brother Super High Yield cartridges. The cyan and magenta are still full, but the yellow is already empty and I haven't printed that much yet. It seems that the ultra high capacity yellow cartridge is not as good in quality as the other colors. I will use a different brand of yellow cartridge. Since this moment. If Brother ever fixes

I've tried cheap third party cartridges and yes, .

I have tried cheap third party cartridges and yes they are cheaper than the Brother brand and work just as well; However, cheap cartridges have one major drawback that I just can't get over. The outlet port (where the ink exits the cartridge and enters the printer) on cheap cartridges lets ink through when it is removed from the printer. This creates a mess and can cause damage. I've never had this problem with any of the original Brother cartridges I've used.

  • GOLS certified

Doesn't fit my printer

So this should have worked with my Brother MFC-J835DW printer but it didn't. Very frustrating. I bought it to stock up and now that some time has passed I can't return it :(

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Functionality

I label my new cartridges when I install them in my computer. I get use of mine for over a year. I understand that this is a purely subjective statement, your mileage may vary. But I print multiple sets of multi-page 11x17 technical drawings weekly. I buy OEM cartridges because a problem with a leaking cartridge or poor quality ink will cost me a lot more than you think you will save by buying a remanufactured or poor quality cartridge. Brand.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Poor print quality from this cartridge

Bought in July, only installed in February - unstable ink, weak print on paper, tried to fix in this cartridge in various ways. Wasted my money on this purchase. I will continue to buy Brother cartridges, I would like to return or exchange the money.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Only available in black

The best for your Brother printer

I only use new ink cartridges in my Brother printers so it can be expensive (but not as expensive and annoying as what happens with random quality refills and leftovers ). When used with the Color Economy print preset, they last a very long time (yes, even with blacks, it's better to use the economy color setting than grayscale as all cartridges last longer). I always get excellent performance from color cartridges; Black cartridges typically require a cleaning program (every 3 cycles) about…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Almost everything is included

Brother products work best with Brother printers

Brother products work best with Brother printers. I've tried some of the other providers. The print quality has deteriorated. When I went back to Brother ink cartridges the quality improved to normal which again is very good. Highly recommend the Brother brand and don't waste your money on other brands even if they seem cheaper.

  • Like all other
