Functions well, but had to fix before use.

This toggle appeared to be well made, but when I went to sew it onto a garment, the strings that actually attach the toggle to the triangle pieces just came off. They were literally glued on with some sort of light glue that had wore out. It was an easy fix thou, I glued them back on w/super glue, but I had wanted a ready made toggle. Oh well, after the fix, it functioned well & looked nice

Pros
  • Yes, they look very nice on my jacket.
Cons
  • Fell apart. I used gorilla glue to fortify them but was really disappointed.

Nice sturdy toggle: my feedback

I added this to a winter sweater that didn't have any closure. It was super easy to sew on, I used yarn to match the sweater and it pulled through the holes just fine with a thin long eye needle, a yarn needle would be to wide.Perfect choice for a heavy item.

Pros
  • craft custom order - it is just what customre wanted
Cons
  • Wood button may chip or break over time

Low-quality in my review

I sewed this to a beautiful sweater. The "look" was exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately, the leather loop broke immediately. It was a disappointment.

Pros
  • Excellent quality.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for formal attire

Good for light costumes only

I had ordered this hoping it would be more sturdy than it actually is. I can make it work, but this won't survive heavy use, it's really only for light costume work. The loops are only glued in place so any type of pulling will certainly rip them from the leather. In the picture you can see that it is only glued there is no other sort of attachment to it what so ever. Not surprised for around $6 but I had hoped for more. Sonic you plan to use it for light costuming it's fine. We will see how…

Pros
  • Buttons
Cons
  • May not be as adjustable as other types of closures

Just what I needed on my review.

Worked great for a Harry Potter cloak. You have to hand sew it on but it ended looking pretty good. You have to sew them pretty far apart for it to look good and hold the fabric closed. It's kind of adjustable but doesn't hold well. Looks good though.Edit: You don't have to hand sew it. If your machine has a button stitch, you set the length to zero. Hand crank it to match holes while adjusting to right width and go to town. It takes a little work to match holes with needle and width but works…

Pros
  • A wide range of
Cons
  • May not be suitable for all ages

Dritz sew in toggle.

I bought those sew on toggles because I thought it would be easier to sew on because of holes but it was not easy to aim for the holes when sewing in .

Pros
  • No
Cons
  • May require additional reinforcement for durability
