Great Antenna Best in Accessories & Consumables

Excellent quality antenna. I use this with my analog scanner and get excellent performance. Would definitely buy again.

Cons

It looks cool! on radio antennas

Ultra clear transmissions from my police scanner when I'm driving. That's a lot better than the included 8-inch antenna. This one is way better. Thank you for the product.

Pros
  • Rugged finish
Cons
  • Little things

Okay, but not a good print.

I like the antenna and the way it looks but the built in rubber grommet doesn't fit well on the roof and water seeps through the NMO mount. I've added a second rubber grommet, maybe that helps. If not, I'll rebuild my old antenna onto a mount that I've never had any problems with. Just a warning, otherwise it works great.

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs

Best Low Profile Multiband Antenna

I love this antenna. This is a low profile antenna that can deliver up to 100 watts if required. This is great for GMRS radios. The antenna works well with other bands. I have a POV so I can talk to my daughter on GMRS and hear what's going on at work. The state I work in uses 850MHz and it's very clear. I definitely recommend this antenna.

Pros
  • Free for educational institutions
Cons
  • Not sure

Works well but depending on distance there is around 2dB to 5dB loss compared to a 1/4 wave rod antenna. If you absolutely need a 30% shorter antenna, then this is for you. I prefer to use a 6 inch metal rod antenna which is only $10. Longer colinear antennas are even better when tree damage is not a problem. The construction looks good. . Made in Taiwan.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly dented
