Bruno Marc HUTCHINGSON_2 Camel Oxford Men's Shoes Review

The photo is about a month old. I polished them like all my shoes. However, these are the latter. Although I've had them for a month now, they still hold up well to daily handling. I bought this shoe to get through my wedding and it passed, but like most synthetic shoes in this price range, don't expect it to stand up to the rigors of everyday use. The actual color I wanted was a more yellowish tan, but due to my height (12) and the scarcity of that particular color (in my budget), I settled on this one, Camel, which is a kind of caramel color good enough for the theme but not too crazy designs/colors that can't be worn with other suits or jeans. The shoes stink right after unpacking. Bad kit. Worn for four hours and walked a total of three miles - had to rip them off in the middle of the work day (very inconvenient to do this with clothes). I now have a quarter sized blister on my foot - the faux leather doesn't fold properly and presses on the top of my foot. I will never buy the brand again. You get what you pay for and now I'm paying for it.

These shoes look very professional, fit well and are comfortable with insoles. I have received many compliments when wearing these shoes with dress pants, trousers or jeans (jeans should be more classic). I really like the variety of styles and colors. Definitely recommend this shoe.

I ordered these to compare with a pair I bought from Johnston and Murphy. J&Ms were on sale but even at retail they were significantly more expensive than this pair. Considering the price difference, I also expected lower quality from them. My expectations were exceeded. This is not good. I have several pairs of Bruno Marc shoes in different styles and they are all great. Each style was true to size and held up great for the price. These thong monks are no exception. All Marc shoes run a bit big; I would say half the size. But it's a great option if you can't find your size. I liked these shoes so much that after about 8 months I bought another pair. At less than $30, they're very inexpensive and look fantastic. I had to buy new ones because the heel of my first pair was worn out. You can spend $15-$20 to fix them or just buy another pair for just a few dollars more. I wear them with suits, jeans etc. They go with almost everything and they look great.
