Affordable alternative

I bought this for my camping gear. It looks pretty decent and doesn't detract too much from what you'd see with very expensive alternatives. The rubber casing lags a bit so I'm deducting a star, but that doesn't detract from the functionality, I just feel like it's a quality feature that the manufacturer has overlooked. It's partially adjustable to make distance clearer and has a decent body that comes with it. The pivot hole for a small sling is a big plus, it feels solid and I'll probably put

Thumbs up from this monocular fanatic

As I already know what monoculars are (I have two others) this monocular lived up to my expectations. I wanted this because it is waterproof and anti-fog. This is a great choice if you need 8x magnification rather than higher. When hunting I like to be able to instantly zoom to a specific area and I've found that 8x helps me do this faster than 10x or 12x. This one is also brighter than my other monoculars. I have a drawer full of different optics and have found that $200 optics aren't ten…

Good value for money

This is a cheap economy item but is good value for money. You will not buy a quality monocular for less than $20. Despite being an inexpensive device, it does have its uses. Check out the features and specs. This is a sturdy, waterproof device that shouldn't fog up (mine didn't) and works well outdoors. Magnification level 8X. A small increase, but if you increase it to 10x or more, it becomes more difficult to stabilize the image. The lens has a small diameter of 22 mm. Rule of thumb: the…

Great affordable Brunton Lite-Tech scope 81-00682

Ideal for indoor and outdoor pistol and target shooting. It's so hard to see where you're hitting the target beyond 10 yards with 22 calibers, let alone larger calibers. I have read many reviews and reviewed many monoculars and for me this is the best! I have expensive Leupold VX-1 and VX-2 scopes, a Leupold spotting scope, and a Leupold RX-1000 TBR DNA rangefinder, and this monocular is more portable and easier to use than any of my other scopes I've mentioned. If you know anything about…
