Great jacket - I'm new but this works great for me!

I've searched everywhere including my local sweat supplies but couldn't find anything under $40 and they were clearly less trendy. I'm a tall guy with long arms so other jackets left a gap between my gloves and sleeves even though I wore longer cuffed sweat gloves. This jacket was true to size and fit even with a layer or two underneath. Buttons on the sides allow me to dig in a bit when wearing just a t-shirt. After hours of use here for the first few weeks it has held up very well. The jacket

Size is more like a shirt, strong zips

I found this jacket to be a little more fitted than I was hoping for. Others said they were over 6ft tall and weighed around 200lbs and had plenty of room. At 5'11" and 205 pounds I was hoping it would be comfortable to wear over a shirt but it's a bit tight. I can still wear it like this but if you want to use it as a coat , buy a size up. Happy with the protection

I'm new to welding and buying a specialty jacket seemed like overkill. Especially since I weld at my local makerspace and will probably only wear it a few times a year. I've used it several times and changed my mind. No burns and no sweat and grinding residues on the hands. It helps me feel safe and I can focus on putting on a good bead instead of worrying about burning myself. It's much thicker than a regular shirt, but not as thick as a canvas.
